Fever is looking for a Security Intern to join its Risk and Resilience Team, an open-minded, problem-solver looking to learn about risk, intelligence and duty of care (travel security) in an environment where virtually all our work has cross-border impact.
As a Security Intern, you will deal with several Intelligence and Security areas such as intelligence reporting, country and event risk assessments and duty of care (travel security) that apply to Fever business operations and personnel, assist and work closely with various teams, all while gaining analytical skills while contributing in the processes. You will be helping your team make an impact in the growth of the company.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Intern will report to the Risk and Resilience Manager and provide support to the Security Team and learn to handle operative tasks including:
- Gather and analyze data (political, social, security, health) on travel advisories and official security sources.
- Monitor and report on emerging threats globally, potentially affecting Fever assets and personnel.
- Draft and disseminate security briefings and trainings.
- Write detailed country and event risk assessments and proposed security recommendations.
- Research and monitor different sources (OSINT, HUMINT), covering any potential impactful event and creating situational awareness.
- Support with operative and tactical intelligence report writing.
- Assist in developing duty of care policies and guidelines.
- Support the manager with security management administrative tasks.
ABOUT YOU
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
- Looking to learn through experience.
- An excellent student with a great academic record —past exposure to risk / intelligence / duty of care analysis is a plus.
- A team player and an effective communicator.
- Fluent in English and Spanish — other languages a plus, especially French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, or Arabic.
- Available to start working in Madrid, full time (with start / end dates negotiable).
- Currently enrolled in a postgraduate college degree / masters program of security / intelligence in Spain.
