About the role:
This role will be focused on helping to prevent and protect Fever from security threats, vulnerabilities and weaknesses that can potentially lead to security incidents by proactively testing, implementing and improving the security of our cloud services, applications and infrastructure, ensuring they remain resilient against evolving threats.
As part of the Cybersecurity team, you will focus on defensive security within cloud environments, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to strengthen Fever’s security posture. What would you do at Fever?
On your first month in Fever:
- You will be fully integrated into the team. You will participate in planning and follow-up meetings with other areas.
- You will have met the departments of Fever.
- You will get familiar with Fever's technological structure and ecosystem (applications, infrastructure, architecture, etc.)
- You will gain an understanding of our security processes, tools and overall security landscape.
After 3 months in Fever:
- You will analyze and enhance our vulnerability management processes by identifying areas for improvement.
- You will develop automation scripts to strengthen security monitoring, alerting and remediation for vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- You will contribute to risk assessments, ensuring secure cloud implementations align with best practices.
- You will participate in security configuration reviews to ensure cloud environments meet industry standards.
- You will participate in vulnerability management sessions, collaborating with stakeholders to drive continuous security improvements.
On your 6th month in Fever:
- You will optimize and maintain security automation tools to enhance cloud security operations.
- You will drive vulnerability management efforts, ensuring timely identification, clear ownership and effective mitigation of security risks in collaboration with stakeholders.
- You will lead initiatives to implement secure solutions for applications and data.
- You will act as a point of contact for technical guidance and best practices on vulnerabilities and cloud configurations.
- You will develop cybersecurity technical documentation and secure best practices guidelines to educate and support stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and improve the vulnerability management process for cloud environments including containers, hosts and applications.
- Conduct regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and misconfigurations in the AWS ecosystem.
- Enforce AWS security best practices, including secure configurations, architecture and processes.
- Perform risk assessments based on cloud architecture best practices to provide technical security expertise to stakeholders in implementing secure solutions.
- Develop and deploy automated security solutions to improve vulnerability reporting, tracking and remediation processes.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to integrate security best practices into cloud environments.
- Monitor performance of vulnerability management, secure configuration and architecture implementations.
About you
Must have:
- Hands-on expertise in vulnerability management for cloud environments, containers, and applications.
- Proficiency in scripting for automation and security operations (Python, Go or similar).
- Strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure security including configurations, networking, Identities, etc.
- Deep understanding of cloud security frameworks, best practices and secure architecture principles.
- Ability to analyze security threats and implement proactive defense mechanisms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally to drive security initiatives.
- 4+ years of experience in cloud security and/or cybersecurity roles.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or another similar relevant degree (or equivalent experience in a technical security role).
- Fluent in english.
- Good communication skills.
It would be a plus if you have:
- Experience with Cloud Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) tools and/or centralized vulnerability management operations.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
- Experience securing containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes, ECR).
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to ensure compliance and security best practices.
- Security certifications(e.g. CISSP, AWS Security or similar)
