About The Team
Secret Media Network is a digital media group focused on recommending perfect plans, discovering great places, sharing things to do and relevant breaking news in different cities around the world. About The Role
The Inbound Marketing & CRM Project Manager is the strategic bridge between our editorial content and our global audience growth. You will own the global newsletter strategy and lead-generation ecosystem across all Secret Media Network cities.
Your mission is twofold: Map editorial opportunities to design high-converting Inbound strategies (growing our subscriber base) and optimize our CRM channels to nurture those contacts, ensuring they stay engaged and move seamlessly toward our transactional experiences. This role combines content planning, automation, and performance analysis to grow engagement, retention, and monetization.
Key Responsibilities
- Inbound & Opportunity Mapping - Lead generation: Analyze editorial performance to identify "conversion gold mines." Define strategies to which articles, content or news cycles should be leveraged to capture new leads and convert anonymous readers into a known subscriber in the database.
- Newsletter Strategy & Execution: Define and own the content of our newsletters. Establish editorial frameworks and best practices to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Lifecycle & Lead Nurturing: Create, manage, and optimize automated email flows and triggers. Ensure CRM initiatives support user lifecycle goals such as acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the central point of contact between local editorial teams, branded content, product, CRM and commercial stakeholders . Align CRM placements with marketing launches to maximize visibility.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Track and analyze KPIs (Open Rates, CTR, Database Growth, and Conversion). Use insights to continuously optimize subject lines, formats, assets, journeys and send strategies.
- Scalability & Automation: Establish and document CRM workflows. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through tooling, automation, and AI-driven processes.
About You
- 3+ years of experience with Inbound marketing strategies within a media, agency or digital brand environment.
- Inbound Mindset: Ability to identify content opportunities and transform them into lead generation engines.
- CRM Expertise: Deep understanding of CRM ecosystem, including content strategy, deliverability, and performance optimization.
- Strategic & Editorial Sensitivity: Strong editorial sensitivity and ability to curate content for diverse audiences while balancing editorial value with monetization.
- Experience working closely with an editorial team to align strategies.
- Analytical Mindset: Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data into clear insights and action plans. Deep understanding of the key metrics of an Inbound Marketing campaign.
- Tech Savvy: Experience with CRM and email platforms (e.g. Salesforce, Braze, Mailchimp, Iterable, HubSpot, or similar).
- Nice to Have: Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a significant plus.
- Project Management: Comfortable managing multiple markets, stakeholders, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Languages: Proficient in English; additional languages are a plus.
