About the Role
We are looking for a Head of Data Science to lead and scale a world-class team, driving high-impact business optimization across Fever.
In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, translating ambitious goals into a clear, structured, and actionable Data Science roadmap. You will play a key role in shaping how data and advanced analytics are leveraged to improve decision-making and unlock growth opportunities.
As a leader, you will be responsible for building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing Data Science team, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.
At the same time, you will operate as a hands-on practitioner, maintaining strong technical depth. You will review model designs, challenge assumptions, and ensure the highest standards of scientific rigor across all initiatives.

What You’ll Do
- Lead a team of Data Scientists that work in several different capacities to improve the overall decision making capabilities at the company to drive business optimisation and connect people to the best and most relevant experiences.
- Scale up the team into a world-class Data Science team owning the full hiring funnel from job definition to offer.
- Refine the culture and team dynamics to nurture and grow a cutting-edge Data Science team providing clear mentorship and career growth plans while instilling a culture of intellectual rigour and fast iteration.
- Act as internal evangelist for a data-driven culture, influencing product, commercial, and operations teams to embed advanced Data Science and AI solutions into key business workflows.
- Help drive the adoption of AI within the Data Science team and the wider organisation augmenting the team’s capability and throughput while retaining scientific excellence and rigour.
- Drive projects end-to-end in partnership with cross-functional teams with our stakeholders in business, product, and engineering to devise data-driven solutions to optimise Fever’s business.
- Lead the design and deployment of models driving the highest impact within Fever’s business in areas such as marketing optimisation, dynamic pricing, investment decision support, etc.
- Own the experimentation framework (A/B testing, causal inference, incrementality measurement) used to evaluate experiments’ effectiveness at scale.
- Contribute towards advancing the Data Science discipline within Fever helping improve standards for analysis, model documentation, monitoring, and deprecation; operationalise data science at production grade.
Skills and Experience
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field.
- A minimum of 10 years of work experience in applied analytics, including a minimum of 4 years of experience managing analytics teams.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing analytics teams.
- Experience building or scaling up analytics teams.
- You have an entrepreneurial spirit, get stuff done and thrive in a fast paced environment.
- You have proven experience driving impact through the development, experimentation and deployment of models and data-driven analytics solutions.
- You have a strong understanding of statistical analysis and modeling including regression, econometric models, time series analysis and forecasting.
- You have excellent communication skills and are proficient in business English
