Meet the Team
As the legal team, we support all areas of Fever by offering clear advice, risk management, and legal insight that allow teams to move quickly and stay focused on what matters. We ensure alignment with local laws and regulations to support safe and compliant growth wherever Fever operates.
Our team is structured in: Physical Security, Risk and Resilience, and Health and Safety. Together, we cover the full spectrum of security and risk management to meet the needs of a growing global business like Fever.
Our objective is to protect the Fever brand and confidential information. We do this by guiding regulatory compliance and business expansion, handling legal complaints and disputes, reviewing and creating legal documents, managing incident reports and insurance claims, and developing and advising on corporate policies.

The Role
Fever is looking for a Trust and Safety Intern to join our team in Madrid. We are seeking an open-minded, detail-oriented problem solver eager to dive into the world of platform integrity, investigations, and risk mitigation. In this role, you will help protect the Fever ecosystem by ensuring we work with legitimate partners and maintain the highest standards of trust.
As a Trust and Safety Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in operational support, third parties screenings, due diligence, and policy creation. You will work closely with our specialists to conduct screenings, handle investigations, and support our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework. We are looking for a 4 to 6 months full time period (length negotiable and/or adaptable to academic needs, including the need to work part time for all or part of the internship) to start as soon as possible (open to discussion). This is a unique opportunity to develop analytical skills in a fast-paced, cross-border environment while helping the company scale safely.
What You’ll Do
The Intern will report to the Trust & Safety Manager, providing operational support and learning to handle key tasks including:
- Operational Support: Assist in the creation and refinement of team policies, procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Investigations: Support comprehensive research on potential and existing partners to identify and respond to Trust & Safety violations.
- Screening & Due Diligence: Perform KYC (Know Your Customer) and KYP (Know Your Partner) checks to verify the legitimacy of entities and individuals.
- TPRM Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and support of our Third-Party Risk Management tools and databases.
- Reporting: Help prepare clear, detailed investigative reports and present findings to internal stakeholders.
- Fraud Detection: Collaborate with internal teams to identify patterns of fraud and abuse through OSINT and data analysis.
Who You Are
We welcome applications with unusual backgrounds with the expectation that the applicant will have acquired hard or soft skills and maturity throughout their experiences and has the appropriate potential to grow through this internship.

This role is located at Fever’s HQ in Madrid, although we can be flexible with the timing you will be expected to move there if you are currently living elsewhere.
In order to be successful in this role, you will be:
- A Curious Learner: Eager to learn through experience and take ownership of tasks from day one.
- An Academic Achiever: Currently enrolled in a postgraduate/Master’s program in Security, Criminology or a related field in Spain.
- A Budding Specialist: Familiarity or academic knowledge of due diligence, KYC/KYP processes, or OSINT is highly valued.
- Analytically Minded: Able to synthesize complex information and identify "red flags" or risks.
- Communication Pro: Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Ethical & Discreet: Comfortable handling highly confidential and sensitive information with total integrity.
