The Role
The Learning & Development Manager ensures that everyone at Fever is properly trained and equipped with the knowledge, information and skills required to perform effectively in their role, from a new joiner's first day to the rollout of every new processes, tools and ways of working.
Beyond program execution, the role holds strategic ownership of the function: defining L&D policy and roadmap, owning the company's learning budget and maximizing its return, driving continuous improvement of the e-learning platform, and ensuring all training content is documented, governed and co-created with the business. The L&D Manager positions learning as a consistent, data-driven, and scalable function across the whole organization.
What You’ll Do
- L&D Strategy & Governance:
- Design, implement and maintain Fever's learning strategy and internal L&D policies, including budget guidelines, training approval frameworks, eligibility criteria and provider governance, ensuring consistent application across departments.
- Act as the main point of escalation and decision-maker on learning matters, providing visibility, risks and recommendations to the business.
- Define and own the learning roadmap, ensuring Fever's employees and teams have the knowledge and skills they need to perform their roles effectively, from new joiner onboarding to upskilling on new processes, tools and ways of working.
- Partner with department leads and the People Teams to build learning journeys that support progression across roles and levels, embedding them into Fever’s career path and growth frameworks.
- Learning Budget and Cost Optimization
- Own end-to-end the company's learning budget, monitoring spend across markets and ensuring it is allocated to maximize return.
- Identify and activate cost-recovery and cost-optimization opportunities, including training grant and levy schemes (i.e. FUNDAE in Spain and their equivalents in other priority markets).
- Build a playbook to replicate best practices for funding and cost recovery across the markets where Fever Operates.
- Partner with FP&A and Procurement teams to track budget consumption, forecast spend and report on cost efficiency.
- E-Learning Tools and Analytics
- Own the relationship with the e-learning platform provider(s), identifying gaps and driving improvements to content, UX and adoption.
- Evaluate, pilot and roll out new tools or features that increase self-service learning and the scalability of the L&D function.
- Streamline and automate L&D workflows (ticket routing, approvals, self-serve resources) to reduce operational friction.
- Own end-to-end L&D analytics, building and maintaining dashboards that track participation, completion, engagement and program effectiveness across departments, and translating the data into actionable insight and regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Training Content Ownership and Creation
- Own the company's training content, ensuring all learning materials are documented, up to date and under consistent governance across departments.
- Lead the design and creation of training content in collaboration with the business teams, acting as owner and facilitator rather than sole producer.
- Ensure content is properly structured and hosted, coordinating with the e-learning platform where relevant so it remains accessible and scalable.
- Maintain a single source of truth for all training materials, keeping visibility and control over what exists, who owns it and when it needs updating.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a track record of owning L&D strategy and policy rather than only executing programs.
- Proven experience managing a learning budget end to end, including training grant or levy schemes (FUNDAE experience is a strong plus).
- Hands-on experience owning an e-learning platform/LMS, driving adoption and improving the learner experience.
- Data-driven mindset: comfortable building dashboards and turning learning metrics into actionable insight for stakeholders.
- Experience designing and governing training content in partnership with business teams, acting as owner and facilitator rather than sole producer.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence department leads and managers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in international, multi-country organizations; exposure to training funding schemes beyond Spain is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
- Highly organized and process-oriented, with a bias for automation and scalable solutions.
