We are looking for a Video Editor to join our team in Madrid! Working within a fun, dynamic, and fast-growing startup, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your creative skills to a large and highly engaged audience.
We’re looking for someone who can create engaging, high-energy videos covering openings, events, and Fever experiences, combining motion graphics and original video content for our platforms. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and an understanding of social media trends, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Edit a wide range of social media videos (scripted and unscripted) using both original and archival footage, including branded content.
- Quickly assemble edits and experiment with different versions, exploring multiple creative directions.
- Create polished final edits with color correction, sound mixing, and captions for publishing on social channels.
- Identify exciting video/photo topics, assist with script development and the coordinate of shoots.
- Work collaboratively with teams, providing and receiving constructive feedback throughout the editing process.
About You:
We want you on our team if you have:
- Proven experience in professional-quality video editing (please provide a showreel or portfolio of previous work; relevant social media links are also welcome).
- A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Film, Design, Communication, or a related field.
- Client facing skills: Experience working with brands and stakeholders, understanding the importance of feedback and collaboration.
- A strong understanding of social media trends and experience in social-first content creation (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
- The ability to work independently or collaboratively, with a proactive, can-do attitude.
- A passion for city life, events, and entertainment—ideally, you're someone who loves exploring and sharing new experiences.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and meet tight deadlines when necessary.
- Excellent understanding of digital media trends and what makes content shareable and engaging online.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced English (C1 minimum) and Spanish; a third language (e.g., French) is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, Photoshop, and Media Encoder (After Effects and Canva are a plus).
- Camera & Production Skills: Comfortable creating video and still imagery using Sony Alpha series, GoPro, iPhone, etc.
- Motion Graphics & Animation: Basic experience in motion graphics, titling, cinemagraphs, GIFs, and typographic animation is a plus.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of digital media formats, codecs, frame rates, color correction (Premiere), and basic sound design/mixing (Premiere & Audition).
