About the Role

We’re looking for a Health and Safety Specialist based in Chicago, IL, to join Fever’s global Health and Safety team. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and improving safety across our US operations, from immersive exhibitions to large-scale live experiences, ensuring smooth operations and full compliance with local regulations. The team works globally to integrate safety into every stage of the event lifecycle, and in this role you will report to the Health and Safety Manager while serving as the main point of contact for safety matters in the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development, improvement, and oversight of Health & Safety program and standards for Fever US, ensuring alignment with global strategy and corporate compliance requirements.
  • Provide H&S leadership at the project level by conducting risk assessments and safety inspections during pre-production, installation, operation, and dismantling of events.
  • Collaborate with producers, project managers, and venue operators to identify and mitigate hazards across both corporate processes and live event operations.
  • Ensure Fever events comply with OSHA, ADA, and all applicable local/state regulations by actively interpreting requirements and applying best practices to create safe, accessible experiences.
  • Support internal teams and external vendors with training, safety briefings, and emergency protocols, fostering a strong safety culture both within the company and on-site.
  • Investigate and report incidents and near misses, implementing corrective actions and sharing lessons learned at both project and organizational level.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and compliance records to support corporate governance as well as project-based audits and inspections.

What You Bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in health & safety, production safety, or occupational safety — preferably in live events or experiential activations.
  • Deep knowledge of OSHA standards and Illinois/Chicago-specific regulations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Comfortable being on-site during irregular hours and traveling to event locations in the region.
  • Certifications such as OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or similar are a strong plus.
